I 'won' this competition. I was asked for feedback in November, copied below, to which I have never had a reply.

There were quite a few reasons that lead us to the decision.

I raised concerns by email ahead of the appointment that weren't really addressed. You said you would send a message ahead of the appointment with where to meet you and that never happened. The venue was very tired throughout. The chair covers were covered in marks and holes. The furniture was dated. The bridal suite was really disappointing. There were multiple rooms you couldn't turn on the lights. Some rooms were missing curtains. It was cold. No drink was offered, not even a glass of water, as they have at the other show rounds we have been to. The brochure was such poor quality it was laughable. There was no enthusiasm, even when you asked how it felt to 'win' a competition. It doesn't feel like we won anything: it's just a massive marketing ploy that is full with hidden mark ups and lack of clarity of what is included and what the 'deal' is. The idea that we would be dealing with you until the day of the wedding means we have no idea who would be in charge on the day... how can we be reassured of the standard we will get on the most important day of our lives? I did not like the approach of being told to cancel the appointment directly with the other venue. You promised to send the quotes the next day and that didn't happen, nor did any update: I had to chase. There is deliberately too much detail and repetitive notes on the quotes to confuse people as to what they are actually getting.

We left with no confidence in you, the company you work for or the venue and that is not what we want or deserve on our wedding day.

I dont wish to be rude or harsh but I believe in being honest, particularly as you asked.
