When should this arrive? With the WFA removal this year the £10.00 is going to be useful and no sign of it yet, has anyone received it if no other benefits are now in payment?

Mine went into my bank yesterday, they seem to be slowly arriving and so should be in the next few days.
I think they've stopped sending a letter, given the cost of postage that seems sensible0 -
Received 2 weeks ago. No notification, just spotted it on my account. Adding it to my Christmas Charity donation as usual.0

I think the ref varies mine implied it was a PIP payment. It's always a discrete £10 with some sort of DWP or NI ref though0

£20 would hardly be enough to buy enough sprouts and cabbage for a couple to generate their own gas supply!

The Christmas bonus was introduced by Ted Heath in 1972. It was 10 pounds then, and it's 10 pounds now. It was supposed to cover the cost of a full Christmas dinner for a family. Barely covers the bus to the supermarket these days.

It may not be a lot in today's money nor achieve what it was originally intended to, but it's still enough to make a difference. I always try to make sure to use it for something that I'd not buy otherwise2
