I use Linux (Ubuntu) all the time, and use Wine for one or two Windows apps I can't find replacements for. I don't use Money though, so can't vouch for this support.Indeed, as someone was telling me this week that legacy versions of MS Office are borked on later Windows versions.

I'm another happy long-term user of AceMoney, and also recommend it.If,however, you don't fancy it, MoneyManager Ex is well worth a look. It's free.

I remember reading lots of queries like this both on here and in general online so if you do a search you should find lots of useful info.
For myself, now that we are in the age of everything being available online, I've given up on such software as it got to feel like I was being a bit obsessive keeping notes of every income and outgoing to the nearest penny.0 -
Everything being available online, means someone else has the data, not you, and could stop making it available to you.

Its a shame AceMoney is no longer in development. Therefore it has the same longevity issues as MS Money.

Have used Moneydance since 2008 when Quicken stopped supporting anywhere outside the US.

I'll second Moneydance, I've been using it for over ten years.
I gave AceMoney and MoneyManagerEx a look last year, and couldn't get on with either of them.0 -
I've been using Moneydance for about 6 months, as a replacement for Quicken 2000, and very happy with it. As I've moved from Windows to Linux, it was important for me to have something that worked natively with a linux distro.1

Currently use Jiosoft and find it good. Does everything MS Money does. Not free though. One off payment includes all updates and phone call / email customer service (which I have found excellent)0
