Actually, I might have found it.flaneurs_lobster said:
You can find the subscription key in the app on your old phone, note/copy it down and enter into the app on the new phone.FDa65rdk said:
I have a subscription to Malwarebytes Mobile Security. Will this subscription automatically transfer across to my new phone or should I just cancel the subscription if my new phone doesn't need Malwarebytes?
There's subscription ID that consists of 27 characters, starting with GPA and finishing with ..0
There's also a license key which is a series of numbers and capital letters in this format:
XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX
Could this be it?0 -
you don't need it - cancel.it1

I don't think you need it, however, if you've got a subscription then you might as well use it until the sub expires.FDa65rdk said:

Why don't you think I need it?
Go into your Malwarebytes account https://my.malwarebytes.com/subscriptions
Go to Billing & payment, TURN AUTO RENEWAL OFF
From the Subscriptions page you can see how many devices you have active / paid for (probably 1) and when the sub expires.
Deactivate your old device.
You should now be able to sign into your account in the app on your new phone, the status in the online account should be Active against your new device.
I got a 2 year/2 device deal for $12. Acceptable. Run it on two laptops. Free version installed on phones/tablets.
Their current pricing of ~£30/yr 1 device, £15 per extra is not worth considering unless you are a) paranoid and b) rich.

Thanks. I've cancelled the subscription. It will run until September.flaneurs_lobster said:

Good decision. The in-built security in Android is more than sufficient for normal users. Enjoy your new phone BTW, it will be a massive upgrade after 7 years.FDa65rdk said:

Please be aware that Android does not offer offer call filtering, SMS filtering, or web protection. Some manufacturers do add the first two to their skins.FDa65rdk said:
