    Definitely a glitch - your screenshot shows the total value of your trading account as "£0.00". Which might explain why it thought there was no way you could either buy or sell it (or anything else).
    The screenshot also showed 'CLOSED' against the account reference which might explain why they would not allow an order. Unsure if this is a reference to the account or market. Maybe the OP's trading account is somehow closed and the S&S ISA is still open (if that combination is even possible on II) so it depends which account you are using as to if the trading buttons will show?
