Happy Birthday -taff!
Hope you're having a smashing day. XX7 -
🎂😍 @taff. And thanks for the Christmas song, it brought back long-ago memories. My German mother used to sing this to us children for many years, even into our adult years. I can still 'hear' her singing this, along with 'Stille Nacht' and the favourite lullaby 'Schalfe, mein Prinzchen, schalf ein'. All so long ago.Exercise class was extra hard because of lack of sleep so I was glad to get home. Poo test posted off, DW filled, run, emptied and a load of logs brought in. Tomorrow is promised to be 'baltic'. I've had a problem with my car fob not being detected by the keyless start system so had a quick chat with the dealer service bloke, he told me to hold it next to the steering wheel 'notch' to get it re-recognised. That I'll do tomorrow.Long distance hugs to those with coughs, colds and worse.

Happy Birthday Taff, enjoy your day.
DP1 - hope dgd goes on ok today, thinking of you all
update a bit from me - DS2 doing well, consultant won’t remove the fit nail from his leg as he wants him to build up more strength in his leg.,
I also ended up with an a stay in hospital overnight due to an insect bite which turned into an abscess which had to be lanced & drained - this happened in 1 week from the bite. Anyway the wound is healing now slowly thank goodness.
Hope you are all well. Will try and pop in a bit more frequently - although I do try and read each day.10 -
Hello everyone
The weather has been much better today and I managed to get some washing almost dry outside.
Little one had her endoscopy, a few hours later then planned as her blood sugars dropped very low and they had to wait for them to go back up. Her consultant will have to look at them and then we'll find out if she needs another operation. Thanks everyone for all your good wishes x
I just had a very funny phone chat with her, DD had told her she would be able to do the school play tomorrow afternoon, expecting her to be really pleased, but little one announced she was only going to do it if she could change her part. So granny got the job of convincing her that yes she has to be servant 1...as the play is tomorrow. It turns out she want to sing a solo - 'granny that's when you sing by yourself' So I had to say it's just the biggest children who get to do that, and when you're in year 4 you might...she was not impressed!
So hopefully she'll be there tomorrow, DD is keeping her at home in the morning and will just take her round when it's almost time for the play. Our nursery children are in it tomorrow too...which could cause chaos!
I'll report back tomorrow x
