No response from Close Bros.

I had car finance in 2009 and no longer have the paperwork - I settled it in full with a one off payment in 2014 (unfortunately from a bank account which is now closed so i cant go back to check).
I ve emailed them using the template letter and the only response ive had is that they cant find an agreement and to send more information such as date of birth etc. Ive sent that and also informed them of another address as i mightve been at my previous house.
No response at all since then.

Just on the off chance it wasnt Close Brothers (and I am certain it was) Ive filled in the form on Resolver and their nominated experts have emailed me to say that they cant progress as the 'digital signature' (i.e scrawl with mouse) wasnt completed - it definately was. So on the email theres a button to click to go to sign it only the button doesnt have a hyperlink, it doesnt do a thing!

Remember that the whole thing is on hold until late 2025 at the earliest with a high probability it will be pushed again to 2026 or 2027.        The FCA report will likely address data protection destructions as it is an issue they have struggled with when it comes to asking for data.     The FCA will likely instruct archived data (the gap before deletion) be brought back online and you may have to wait until that happens.
