Issues with Verification for Limited Companies on Vinted Pro

I'm posting here as I am having issues with Vinted Pro. I got approval quickly to sell on Vinted Pro however now I've hit the payment threshold I need to get verified for myself and my business.
After over 20 attempts and over £8,000 being held by Vinted I am getting quite frustrated with the process.
Wondering if anyone else has had this problem and how they got round it...has anyone managed to make contact with anyone other than the customer support team as they're not being too helpful?
My issue seems to have come down to my incorporation document showing an old director that was within the company at the time of registration but is now ceased so they are asking me to declare all UBOs even though I am now the only one and have done a UBO declaration with myself as sole director/shareholder and his details as a ceased director/shareholder. I also attached the documents from companies house from when he was ceased. I still got declined!
Next I tried calling companies house and paid £50 for an express form that shows the company in its current state as me as sole director, current address etc etc with a document our accountants had from HMRC that details all shareholder info (just mine) and company details. I thought this would do it but this morning I had the dreaded 'please recomplete your verification' message! This time due to the documents not meeting the verification requirements. I've been assured by my accountant that these are as official as a document can be.
I'm really struggling with what to do next, I've tried calling MangoPay (their partner that completes the verification on Vinted's behalf) and had no luck there. I'm now drafting an email to 'legal@vinted.co.uk', currently waiting a response.
They're holding all my cash flow right before Christmas and it's ruining all the hard work I've put in this year working 7 day weeks!
Has anyone had an application approved that has had a similar issue of multiple directors on the original incorporation documents but less at the time of applying for Vinted Pro?
Also, does anyone know where I stand on a legal standpoint for them holding my money?
Appreciate any help anyone can offer.

I have sympathy as had a real pain with HSBC on KYC a few years ago because we incorporated before marriage and wife changed her name on marriage. HSBC had self served on Companies House but had missed the change of name so had 6 months of calls from them to us with threats of closing the account etc.
Sounds like you have partially made a rod for your own back though, according to their website they ask for a certificate of incorporation, which doesn't name directors, and an up to date articles of association. Sounds like you sent them an old articles and hence they've taken it as current and so the issues with the previously named person.
Being a bank they had to have a proper complaints process and it was only when they looked it at that they finally agreed they had everything they needed from the start. Did have to go to the FOS for compensation though because their offices were only open 9-5 for KYC checks so the hours waiting to talk to them/talking to them were unbillable and cost us money.0 -
I have a very similar problem. I haven't sold anything yet and wanted to get verification done first so I didn't get any issues.
My limited company was incorporated in 2012 and has since changed name and directors. My incorporation document doesn't match the current company details apart from the company number.
I was thinking of trying the express letter but worried if that didn't work for you.
I am really not sure they know what they want. Other places I sell are not this vague about what documents are acceptable. Even Amazon is easier to get verified which says a lot about The Vinted process.
Agree their support is awful. Just get AI answers. If you get anywhere can you update with what worked?

Hi, LTD company here and can't get passed vinted verification either!
Been trying for 3 weeks had over 20 failed attempts. Contacted support so many times, contacted vinted legal and never heard back, called mangopay but they can't help. Honestly just going round and round in circles with support it's basically one big guessing game. They give new reasons as to why it fails all the time, at one point they asked me to refrain from trying to get verified while they investigated it further they then asked for additional documents (shareholder/UBO passport and proof of address) to pass onto mangopay so thought I was finally getting somewhere only to be told a week later they never actually needed that info and to just try again with the same generic response. So now I am also starting to wonder what they are actually doing with all this information I keep giving them!! We've been in business nearly 10 years and operate with shopify payments, stripe, paypal, klarna etc never experienced any problems like this before.
Sorry I can't help but please update if you get anywhere!0 -
First I don't use Vinted but did have something similar with Amazon earlier this year.
It turned out, in my case, that a form was being rejected for being in the wrong format. No one thought to tell me so it was just rejected without explanation.
It took a lot of effort to sort it out.
I'd exhaust every possible communication, Twitter and Facebook and also try he CEO email below.
There appear to be some seller groups on Facebook that may be able to offer help

Has anyone with a Limited Company managed to successfully get verified on Vinted. I have been trying for 3 months and every time it is rejected.
Their rejections are so generic (i.e. an incorrect document was uploaded). If they just told me which document it was it would be a step forward. I never get anything but an AI reply from support if I then ask for further information on the issue they never reply.
I just want to know which documents they need so I can upload them.0
