Storage of medical records etc

I am trying to store all of my medical records in a database - similar to that used by doctors surgeries - with attachments dating back 40+ years.
I have looked at Google calendar - but that doesn't appear to accept multiple attachments on any one day.
Also - it needs to be private (not shared)
Any suggestions for a simple solution ?
If I was half as smart as I think I am - I'd be twice as smart as I REALLY am.

Having attachments on events in a diary is nothing like how a doctors surgery software works?
If thats all you want then setup a calendars with another provider certainly both Microsoft Outlook and Apple iCloud allow multiple attachments for any given day1 -

You could rename all the docs to add the date of the event in yyyymmdd format at the start of the file name so you can sort by name & they will appear in date order0 -
Just to clarify - are all these records in electronic form eg pdfs or are they on paper?0

That is exactly what a database is used for....although with specifiic user interfaces and facilities in medical use as well as security to cover confidentiality issues. However for simple personal use the Google calendar will provide what you need as mentioned above. However beware if you have personal confidential items stored as you are using another's system and do not have full control over it's security. There have been times when Google ( and probably others ) have monitored user's data which I have personally experienced. Might not be an issue now ( it certainly should not be!!)There certainly are other easy ways to Store the data such as pages in Word document or links in an Excel spreadsheet ( there are non Microsoft equivalents) and these will also give a variety of search facilties and chronological sorting, both of which might be useful.Whatever used make sure you have it backed up. Google can be advantageous there.0

Would you consider an encrypted folder stored locally, using a word document to document the key dates and then keep the required attachments in the same folder? Encrypted using something like veracrypt?

You can then filter that list. For example , all blood pressure tests that resulted in a further appointment. But other than interest, it’s difficult to see what benefit this would bring you? If you can let us know what you want to use the data for, we can probably advise a way to achieve this. For example, suppose you wanted to make a case that a condition should have been diagnosed earlier the. You’d want to list all appointments where the symptoms were discussed or tested but not for things like routine appointment.1 -
