there should be something in there about fines and other traffic offences, what did it say exactly

 note this parking charge notice is not a fine or penalty or anything issued by any sort of  authority

I have asked for a copy of the policy, I remember seeing something when I got the car but dont have a copy.

This isn't a "fine" - it's an invoice - if they pay invoices without question can you please tell me their name and address and I'll send of a spurious invoice as well and get myself £100 towards Christmas - it may sound flippant but that is what their process boils down to.

This is exactly what I joked to my partner when I read it. I will just put parking notices on everyones cars at our next team meeting
