@DP1 - what a rotten shame for both your little one and your DD, I'm sending healing vibes to them.@Mehefin - another 'first' coming up, they're always tough. Well done for giving all your beloved Dawn's clothes to the Afghans, they'll all be greatly appreciated.@Coxy - the garden will reward you next summer.@YorksLass - you're banging on well!@Nan - congratulations on the MOT, it's always fearful.@Taff - thanks for the lovely song, it's always a cheery start to the day.@Iris - hope that the dark day wasn't too bad for you.@carolbee - enjoy Wiltshire.@AA - can you report back on the unusual pigs in blanket recipe please?@remmie - did you do all your Christmas shopping?@Izzyy - did Lidl help you?@Wickedlady - one of my favourite recipes is from Nigel Slater - 10 minute trifle. It came in a little book free with a Sunday paper many many years ago. Ah, found it in The Guardian.@TA - how did your bottoming go? All done?My pool session was good again though numbers were depleted - probably everyone doing Christmas shopping. Seems that the buses to Glasgow are fully booked both ways for days and days. Once again the heavy rain started about an hour ago and the darkness is drawing in. I'm under my heated throw with a lovely cup of coffee. There's soup to be made but it won't be today.9

dp1 - Our prayers and hugs are with the little one. It is so hard missing out on the Christmas events at that age. We are all sending her best wishes for a speedy recovery.7
