Vodafone Fiber in a Fast Fiber area

I keep trying to get the MSE offer for the Vodafone Fibre 2 broadband+landline (deadline 23.59 tonight!), but when I click on it, Vodafone tells me I am in a Fast Fiber area and doesn't give me that plan option.
Any idea of how to get it? Thanks.

I was also unable to sign up for Vodafone fibre 2, which is their fastest FTTC offer I think. When I click through on the Fibre 2 link from comparison sites it only lists the FTTP offers. I guess they just don't want to sell FTTC anymore in some areas. The same thing happened for me with the Sky FTTC offers.I don't need FTTP speed or want the digging. In the end I went for Virgin Media as they dropped their price for Black Friday sale and I already have the Virgin plugs wired in from a previous occupant. Next time I'll either haggle Virgin down or try a 4g/5g internet router. In 10/15 years time I'm sure most internet will be wireless 5g or higher so all this digging new infrastructure now will become redundant.0

There are many areas and more soon where there is a "stop sell" on FTTC that comes over the antique phone lines so you'll never get those products.
Your only options are FTTP from whoever has infrastructure in your street or the Red Devil.
I have just ditched TalkTalk FTTC and my landline for Virgin M125 (DOCSIS) and it is perfect for my needs, got a very good Black Friday deal.0 -
Thank you both. A day after switching to Vodafone I cancelled the account as customer help didn't help at all. In the meantime TalkTalk, my previous provider, called me and after some haggling I got fast fibre at around the same price (£1 more) of the Vodafone Fibre 2. Thanks for clarifing why sometimes you can get only fast fibre. Now I have to understand what fttc and fttp mean, and what need to be done.

Openreach do not stop selling copper products when an Alt Net FTTP in the area and there is a WLR stop sell , you still can have FTTC when City Fibre ( or any other Alt Net ) is available , it’s called SoGEA , if Openreach FTTP is available the WLR stop sell effectively means you are offered OR FTTP , WLR /stop sell has nothing to do with alternative network availability, your post suggests Openreach effectively push customers onto competitors networks, they absolutely don’t .

Hi Ayr_Rage and iniltous, thanks for your comments. My broadband knowledge is not enough to understand them. Anyway, I cancelled my Vodafone contract and stayed with TalkTalk. I thought I got Fast Fibre when in fact I got Fibre 65. Well... I can't be bother to switch or shop around again.Thank you all for your help.0
