Proof below. This correspondence woud've cost the courts time and money.

Yes - waste of court time and money - and we have evidence of DCBLegal doing this over 550 times. And we only see the tip of the iceberg of their c110,000 claims p.a.HungryCaterpillarNomNom said:Morning All,
Some good news received yesterday. On the last day for the court fee to be paid, Euro Car Parks filed a notice of discontinuance.
They really should have some sort of penalty, their case would have reserved court space/time and they never had the intention of pursuing. They've also wasted 4 years of my time.
Can we write to our MPs or something to try and address this?
Many thanks for all the help received from this forum, I'm not sure what I would've done without the advice. I appreciate the advice on here is free and it is an excellent resource. I will be sure to pass on all my knowledge to whoever asks.Proof below. This correspondence woud've cost the courts time and money.
Here, to my knowledge they've never been seen to attend hearings/pay the fee for any 'single PCN' cases involving Euro Car Parks, ParkingEye, Group Nexus or UKPC, for example. Always discontinued.
So, in reality, including other (non-forum posting), this little game will likely wasting the time of the CNBC at the start and local courts up and down the country, TENS OF THOUSANDS OF TIMES EVERY YEAR.
And the MoJ hasn't stopped it, indeed they have proved so tone deaf that they consider DCB Legal a 'Superuser'.
Even when the CNBC started to fall over (in no small part due to the weight of parking cases which are a third of all small claims now), all they did was apologise to users (i.e. claimants) and bring in more staff to facilitate the abuse! You could not make it up.
Anyway congrats, you won!

Thank you OP for the copy of your your court correspondence. I can now get this counted in the DCBL Legal thread of shame. 👍Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
