Hi all. I've just used the Resolver website as linked in MSE to get back some money for a delayed flight by American Airlines. I've done everything on resolver and uploaded all evidence, however I have received an update on my claim by Resolver which states:
You’ve reached a mailbox that is not monitored by American Airlines.
To ensure consistency and transparency, all contacts regarding a travel difficulty on American Airlines should be directed to our Customer Relations department by visiting aa . com
We appreciate your business.
Has anyone else experienced this and does this mean I have to now apply directly to AA?
Thank you.0 -
Resolver just adds another link into the chain and doesn't achieve anything that you can't obtain by simply following the airline's own claim process. Just to check before you do so, was this for a flight from the UK or EU, and if so, what was the cause of the delay?0

I wouldn’t waste time with Resolver. Just use the claim process given on the airline website.0

Yep the flight was from the UK to US and the cause of delay was not given at the airport, the flight was then cancelled and we were put on another flight 12 hours later.eskbanker said:Resolver just adds another link into the chain and doesn't achieve anything that you can't obtain by simply following the airline's own claim process. Best to make sure that you're clear that you're claiming for a cancellation not a delay, but without knowing the reason it's still possible that the claim will be rejected, if it wasn't something within the airline's control.Supersonicwhite said:

However, in the first instance, use the airline's nominated contact method:
