Vodafone broadband+landline

I thought I applied for the Fibre 2 broadband and line, 45Mb-71Mb for
£22/mth, equivalent to £17.84 considering the £100 giftcard.
Accessing their website via MSE I was asked to choose the gift card and then a plan.
But then it showed me all the offers, not just the one above. I chose the Full Fibre 74, thinking the £22 per month were without considering the vouchers. Instead in the contract it was £22 with discount and £28 before. It seems closer to Fibre 2 + Super WiFi 6 which in MSE is £22 (£27 without discount).
I phoned and Vodafone said it might be an error (can't spell the word jiggle he used).
What do you think might have happened? I cancelled my contract but the £22/mth, equivalent to £17.84 ends tonight! Thanks for your help.

It sounds like the offer is £22 monthly (reduced from a normal price of £28 during the promotional term) and you get a £100 on the side. If you were to pretend the £100 could be used to pay towards your bill it works out at £17.84 a month during the promotional term.
In practice £22 would come out your bank every month (well, until it increases by £3 in April) for the duration of the deal. Once the 18-24 (or whatever) month term runs out, the price goes back up to the standard price of £28.
Separately you will receive a £100 giftcard in a few months.
The reason MSE and other comparison sites show an equivelant price including the giftcard is because most of us would agree that £22 a month with a £100 giftcard is better than £21.99 a month with no giftcard, and it makes it easier to compare.Know what you don't0 -

I can't follow you, I'm so sorry. From what I understood in MSE:- the Fibre 2 broadband+landline (45Mb-71Mb) costs £22 (so the direct debit is £22). Equivalent to £17.89 considering the £100 voucher.- the Fibre 2+Super WiFi 6 cost £27 (so the direct debit is £27). Equivalent to £22 considering the £100 voucher. From the MSE comparisons it seems to be £22 versus £27. An considering the vouchers £17.84 versus £22.When going to the Vodafone website through MSE, the names of the plans got me confused. I cannot understand what plan I should choose to get the Fibre 2 broadband+landline (45Mb-71Mb) at £22 (plus the 100 voucher). Thanks again. The offer ends tonight...0
