    UPDATE

I noticed that the time on the PCN is listed as 12:32, but my dashcam shows 01:35. While the hour difference can be explained by the clock change, the minute discrepancy seems to be an error on the council's side. I’ve verified that my dashcam clock is accurate to within 10 seconds. Does this discrepancy affect my appeal, and could it potentially make the PCN invalid?

    Thanks :)

Do you mean 13:35 as the times as posted indicate a 13 hour difference?

There are a number of signs indicating the upcoming bus gate further back on the road you will have driven down to get to this junction.  Plenty of warning which you unfortunately missed.  Glasgow Council are unlikely to lose.

Hi, my point is that accounting for the 1-hour disparity due to the clock change, the PCN timing is still 3 minutes earlier than the time shown on my dashcam.

As for the signage, my focus is on the issues I’ve outlined at the start of the restricted area. If the signs were clear, intact, and unobscured, compliance would be trivial.

    Thanks :)

The signs in your photos are clear, intact and unobscured. Im not sure why you say otherwise. The blue and yellow signs in particular can be easily seen. The only part were there is anything obscured is where a sticker is on the sign by the 7am-7pm.

Which they were as were the ones I mentioned which you would have already passed, and failed to notice.

  • User3753 its pointless posting for opinion as your bound to get exactly what we are reading above from random posters .

Opinion is a pointless endgame if looking to contest your PCN

The first couple of replys from regular posters on this private parking board advised you to visit the ftla site .
They know what they are doing and advising .

You need to do exactly that where the regulars with experience on that site can advise the best course of action on your exact situation .

If the time on the Penalty Charge Notice is an hour out, I would simply appeal with the contravention did not occur and provide some evidence of where the car was at the time on the PCN if you can.

If it's a few minutes or seconds out it wouldn't be enough.
