We concentrate on parking issues. This will be better posted here https://www.ftla.uk/index.php

I cant help with contesting this, however I dont see any problem with either the signage or road markings. Its also daylight and there are warning signs saying there are cameras. The fact that both people in the car are disabled has no bearing at all on the driver not taking correct notice of the signs.

In your first picture the signs at either side of the road are clearly visible as is the marking on the road to anyone who would pass a eye test for driving

Looks like a slam-dunk for Glasgow City Council to me.

Thank you for your comment. With several damaged or obscured signs, including one with clear impact damage, the driver was left guessing which to obey. This damage suggests that the impacted sign and others are misaligned, adding to the confusion that forms the basis of the appeal.

Thanks for commenting. There is a sign facing the wrong direction, signs obscured with stickers, and a sign damaged and possibly misoriented, seemingly due to a vehicle hitting it. These are some of the signage issues I am talking about.

There are several easy to read clear signs. Seriously cars would be driving down there all day if it were as you say. I dont know where you are seeing the damaged and obscured signs.
I think perhaps its a case of the driver not having the required eyesight to drive. To say a driver was confused and had to guess which signs to obey will not help with any appeal, more likely to go against the driver.
  • UPDATE

I noticed that the time on the PCN is listed as 12:32, but my dashcam shows 01:35. While the hour difference can be explained by the clock change, the minute discrepancy seems to be an error on the council's side. I’ve verified that my dashcam clock is accurate to within 10 seconds. Does this discrepancy affect my appeal, and could it potentially make the PCN invalid?

    Thanks :)

Thank you for your input, but I think we may be approaching this from different perspectives. I appreciate your contribution nonetheless.

I think you are clutching at too many straws now. If it is your car and it went down the bus lane then why would it matter. Its not like a parking ticket where you have overstayed. The car should not have been driven through a prohibited area.
