Replacement TV options without internet

Hi - I'm looking to buy a new TV for my elderly mother. She has an aerial but does not have the internet. She mainly watches the traditional terrestrial channels but would like to get her access to as many channels as possible given the limitation of not having the internet.

Any suggestions much appreciated.

Thanks
Robson

  • If the aerial is her only means of getting a signal then it will be Freeview.

Budget and size of screen are your considerations.

Things that are differerent: draw & drawer, brought & bought, loose & lose, dose & does, payed & paid

What does she have now?  Make and screen size?  Why change it if working well?

    Budget? and Screen size wanted?

The remote control design / comfort / size of buttons and familiarity may enter the equation, too so consider the same brand if it has served well.
  • Thanks - she’s got a 32” LG but just getting a bit small for her. There’s a Freeview 40” Hi Sense on Amazon Black Friday that looks like a decent option
