  • Had a letter this morning from Link to say one of my debts is unenforceable currently, as they are unable to comply with my request for account information within the 12-day initial timeframe. 
    It says the balance remains collectable... but does it?

    From reading other comments on this forum, I would say it is NOT collectable at the moment... but I would definitely wait to get advice from the far more informed experts on here.

    A lovely update from Monday on your progress - so pleased you're finally moved, hopefully you got the van back, and you must feel like a huge weight has been lifted from your shoulders paying your friends!

    It says the balance remains collectable... but does it? 
    The debt still exists, it’s just not enforceable through the courts. You can either walk away from it if you don’t bother that they will still insist in collecting it or you can offer them a very small amount as settlement.
