 If segovia genuinely  believes he is being approached by an accredited Fidelity FA, he has the means to get that person sacked by Fidelity themselves. Hopefully this should suffice to curtail this thread, can't think there is much more to usefully add?

I believe he is part of a front office sales team looking for leads to pass on to the FA's and I would hope his calls are recorded.  He seems a pleasant enough guy and wouldn't want to get him into trouble.

I can't remember how or when they first got in touch, but it was probably as a result of an enquiry I made online many years ago.

There aren't many things that are guaranteed, but one thing that is, is that this is definitely not Fidelity! I have a long history with them and this sort of thing does not happen!

Phone Fidelity back, asking to speak to the gentleman who has called you. Then you'll know if he's a genuine Fidelity emplotyee or not.

Or phone Fidelity and say you want to invest in their product offering a guaranteed 14% .
