Another call from Fidelity International today inviting me to a free consultation with one of their Financial Advisors. Claiming they have irrefutable proof they can return me 14% from my pension savings for a 1.5% fee. Anyone using Fidelity Financial Advisors ?

Just tell them to eff off next time they call and never to contact you again. Anyone offering guaranteed returns of 14% before fees is plainly lying.0

Fidelity would not cold call and they would not say such a thing.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.6 -

I have also have received polite sales ‘pressure ‘ to avail myself of their financial advice offering.
However never once have they made any ludicrous claims about market returns, like suggested to you.0 -

I work for a High Street Bank in Tech Cybersecurity, I have a Post Graduate Diploma in Information Security and ISO27001 Lead Auditor and Implementor Status. I think I know when I'm being scammed.

I work for a High Street Bank in Tech Cybersecurity, I have a Post Graduate Diploma in Information Security and ISO27001 Lead Auditor and Implementor Status. I think I know when I'm being scammed.I would ask which bank, so i can transfer my account away from it...I love greed...it gets so many people....14% return for a 1.5% fee. Everyone in the world would dump money in if it was such a thing.... or do they mean looking back at the juiced nasdaq that because its returned 20%+ for the last 2 years , that next year will do the same.... thats like drinking water from a puddle , and being ok with it cos you didnt get the "runs" , this time.I love buying cheap companies shares at a 50% discount to get a 10% dividend ROI, and i love the juiced up nasdaq/s&p 500, BUT i wouldnt touch this "Fidelity" with a bargepole.I dont use a financial advisor and my 5 year avg return is 15%....it has nothing to do with their competence just a juiced up market right now.... wait for a coming recession, and then ask them for those 14% returns....It wouldnt be right for me to advocate for a well known nasdaq ETF on here.... but the fees typically are sub 0.10% and produce better returns providing it doesnt crash....Honestly, just ignore the call, and take some time to learn how to trade.... you can keep the 1.5% "fee" yourself then.
