BT Broadband - Getting out of it?

Hiya
Although i am happy with my BT broadband it is very expensive compared to other BB tariffs.
When i signed up i was tied in for 18 months.
Does anyone know if it's possibly to get out of it?

Thanks

If you're still in the 18 month period then your only way of getting out of the contract is to pay off the remaining months you have left
