What did Chase say when you asked them about this problem?
Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

It's @Nasqueron normal response to a question in here.
Tbh, I wonder the same, when I see similar enquiries/issues, but just don't post the question 🤷♂️ After all, another's experience won't resolve your personal issue.
In answer to your actual question though, yes. I had that issue a few months after Chase launched in the UK.
I did ask Chase about it, however, I won't pretend to remember their response, only that I had to arrange with the train company for the refund to be sent to Monzo instead.
Haven't had the same occur again as, on the occasion I did need a refund this year, Chase wasn't the card used.1 -
I wonder if it's because Chase does all this virtual card nonsense, so the number they're trying to refund to is different to the real numberI consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?0

Unlikely I would have thought as I'm seeing the credit coming onto the account, but being struck through as rejected. Then appears as an accepted credit a couple of days later. If there was a discrepancy in the card details, surely I wouldn't see it on my account?

It's not a standard or normal response thank you, it's the only response to this specific sort of question. A bank is rejecting a refund and then processing it, they are the only ones who can answer this. I don't understand why people come on a forum and ask random people on the internet when no-one here can give an answer as none of us work for a bank and/or have access to that client's account and could discuss private information on a public site.wiseonesomeofthetime said:It's @Nasqueron normal response to a question in here.

The only people who can answer this are Chase, any other approach is a pointless waste of time as it will not resolve the issue even if someone had a seemingly identical situation as their circumstances will be different.
Q:Chase are rejecting my refunds, I don't know why?
A: Ask Chase why they are rejecting your refunds.

Refunds for card payments do not go for authorization.
So it would be strange for them to reject them, as the 1st they know is when it hits your account.Life in the slow lane0 -
I've said this before, but its pot luck you get someone who knows what they're talking about if you contact the bank. On here you get people with previous experience of the same issue, or can offer sensible suggestionsNasqueron said:
