Transfer or not transfer

Hi all,
I think I know what the answer is going to be, but I'd like confirmation...
I had some money on a fixed 1-year Cash ISA with Shawbrook. When the fixed term ended, I stupidly asked for it to be transferred to my bank account. From there, I deposited it onto my new T212 Cash ISA...
T212 are counting this money as part of this year's ISA allowance. Is this because I didn't ask for a transfer? Is it correct?

Yes, T212 are correct as it came out of the ISA wrapper the moment it went into you personal account.
