Shame about the cleaner one day hopefully you will find the perfect one again but for now I hope it does not cause you too much hassle being without one as least you save money. Well done on the AVC that is a good chunk each month it will add up with the tax relief as well. Are you doing anything about an ISA as well or just the pension now.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Families are hard. Mine sound like KK's.
It was good to see DD and DS.
Had OHU call today - will be interesting to see what comes of that. I took a half day off today and have booked another for Friday. I had a meal out and bought some clothes from Roman and some bargains from a CS. Let's hope they prove worth while.

Sorry to read that life is difficult. I do like Roman clothes, though I did fall in love with some trousers last year and ordered them. Sadly I don’t have legs like a giraffe so they got sent back. Currently not trying to buy any clothes, though I do need some new shoes.LTotal Debt Dec 07 £59875.83 Overdrafts £2900,New Debt Figure ZERO !!!!!!:j 08/06/2013

Roman’s trousers need legs like a giraffe …? I did not know this and with a 32” inside leg this would be helpful!Hugs for the life being difficult but well done for keeping on and I’m glad the art is bringing you joy 😊

Well I restarted my ADHD meds about a week ago at the official half dose and it's mostly helped. I didn't take it today and spent 5 hours this afternoon in bed - 4 napping and one waking up /coming round so it is definitely a swings and roundabouts thing.
The OHU report was confronting but accurate enough so I approved it. It should give me some protection if I need it in the future. I don't know what will happen about my informal complaint as one of the people dealing with it is going to be off for a while - so who knows what's next?? Keep putting one foot in front of the other. The family member with cancer seems to be deteriorating more quickly now after a period of remission. They have a scan next week.
My S&S and pension AVCs are still down due to idiot overseas... Trying to just stay the course as don't want to consolidate losses (by taking any money out). I am still overspending compared with my desired budget. I am taking advantage of cashback on grocery shops, clothing and hotels where I can.
The course that I bought feels a bit too full on so I'm debating what to do. It's probably worth the money but feels a lot of pressure. They say 15-20 hours a week but it feels a lot more for me. They want you to do it in one year but allow you to have access for up to 2 years. I am still 'just' in the 30 day money back guarantee period so if I want to change my mind I'm running out of time. I'll discuss it with my counsellor. I'll sample a few more sessions this weekend and then decide. I feel part of the issue is that they have tried to give too much content and it is all available at once adding to the overwhelm. They are also flip flopping between different techniques but that is also difficult for me as it feels very disjointed. Because I don't have a printer - printing isn't an option either so it's harder to get an overview of where I'm going. Learning for future - I should have bought a cheaper course and sampled that first before buying the full programme.
In more positive news - I'm seeing DS and his partner in a few weeks down in the big smoke and going to the theatre with them. I've just booked a lovely hotel for an overnight stay within half a mile of the theatre so we have somewhere to retreat to in between the two parts of the play and so that I don't get too exhausted or overwhelmed. I'm thinking of driving to a nearby town which has a direct train to London, paying to park there and then using my disabled person's railcard for the first time. DS and I are also hoping to go to some galleries and possibly a garden.
