But D1 is covered in the second post of the NEWBIES thread.

I can't provide a link because to find it. I'd have to go there myself and read the NEWBIES thread, which is all I'm saying for you to do.

No idea what F1 is unless it's the new Q about a Welsh language version, which nobody needs a template for.

Yes I found most of the answers but I couldn't  see F1 covered re: about the hearing

F1 At which county court hearing centre would your prefer the small claims hearing to take place and why?

I know which court I put but not the reason i.e obviously I want the one nearest me for convenience but is that o to put? I'm not working so I can't put that as a reason.

    Many thanks in advance

Just choose your nearest civil court,  for convenience and to keep your costs down

Don't overthink this,  you are allowed to put your nearest civil court for your convenience,  you dont need explanations about work or anything

So as you predicted I received notification that Euro Car parks were discontinuing the claim against me 6 weeks before my court date (letter attached).  This arrived via email on the same day I got a letter from the court with a hearing date, so was already starting to prepare. So another win :)

I know I should be elated but I'm incensed, so much so I wrote back to the solicitors copying in the court.

    Dear xxxxxx

Please can you explain the reason behind this last minute decision. Your client has hounded me for two years on the premise that I had allegedly defrauded a parking payment and the day I get an actual date for the court hearing, they pull out. I'm disgusted with their behaviour frankly, the level of stress this has caused me is huge. I have repeatedly declared my innocence and yet they insisted I was at fault, threatening court action with unpleasant demands to pay. I can only assume this was their tactic all along in the hope that I would waiver.

This whole experience has left me traumatised not to mention a huge waste of time and resources for the courts.  Shame on them and their representatives.

    Regards
    xxxx

I know it'll fall on deaf ears but I will also be writing to my MP. If there is anything else I can do to add my weight to bringing this ridiculous charade to an end ,please let me know.

Thank you all so much for helping me navigate this, I couldn't have held my nerve without you all, you're doing a brilliant job

And the way to really make a difference is check here every week or two for a thread about the imminent Government Consultation, which I'm sre you want to complete!

    Yep, got it.

Thank you @bluewilly101 for the copy of your NoD. I can now get this counted in the DCBL Legal thread of shame. 👍
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
