Eon.Next statements

I seem to have endless trouble trying to get Eon.next to give me any statements. It took months for them to generate a statement earlier this year. I finally got a statement in September. When October came I had to ring up and ask for them to generate a statement. Now my November statement is due and I have had to contact them again for a statement..I tried to join their forum, but a message said I had to email them as there was a problem. I thought customers with smart meters would get a statement every month automatically. Does anyone else have this problem? I really don't want to have to keep chasing them all the time.

Mine are all available on the web account page. https://www.eonnext.com/dashboard/login
They always mail them to me as well. Check spam filters / junk mail?3 -
Not getting a regular monthly bill is normally a symptom of there being something wrong with your account or meter readings.1

As soon as I ring them them up they apologise and generate the statement. Last month they said it was because the prices changed. I don't know what this month's excuse will be. The readings are on the website but not the statement.

One every month via E-mail as well as a reminder of what they'll be taking for my DD a couple of days before its taken.
They even produce extra ones in between if I give them an extra reading over and above the normal monthly auto billing from the smart meterNever under estimate the power of stupid people in large numbers0 -
Do they generate the account debits against the meter reads ?

I switched to an EV tariff with Eon Next last year. It took them several months to generate the first statement and after that they came erratically and with no obvious pattern but eventually they settled down to producing a statement once a month. So perhaps you need to give it time?Reed1

No. They just read the meter and don't do anything else.

I had a similar problem with Octopus earlier this year. The 3rd month I had to chase up I spoke to someone who said there was a glitch and asked if it was ok to change my statement date. They changed it from 20th to 22nd and it's been fine since. You could ring and ask for a different date and see if it helps.Barnsley, South Yorkshire
