Hand tight should be more than enough to tighten up those fittings.
I have doubled up rubber washers in the past to get a decent seal (had to do that on a washing machine).

Yes in the past always done it hand tight with a tower for grip. I've just taken your advice, put another washer in, so 2 new washers and still no luck.

So I managed to finally connect the new hose - it looks better but it was a pain in the *** getting it on because of the lack space behind. I had to dig deep in the toolbox to find something that I could use because the adjustable ratchet was too big and I had the small size as well.
Anyways anyways unfortunately new hose doesn't work either. Please see the video below - I can't upload here directly. You can see the small drop from every second or so from where the hose connect to the shower head.
The questio is, is it the shower head itself that's the problem? Do I need to get a new shower head? I'm strugging to think what else it could be.

    Yikes!
As FreeBear says, hand-tight is all you want!
You can even assist the tightening by turn the hose as well as the coned nut.
Anyhoo, it does look as tho' your actual shower head is the problem, but the video angle doesn't show where - exactly - the water comes out. Could you redo this - close-up?

Could be a crack in the shower head where it disappears in to the hose. I've had plastic stuff crack along the mold line in the past.

Treasure the moments that you have. Savour them for as long as you can for they will never come back again.

Thank you very much for the help everyone. It was the shower head causing the leak.

I just got a new one from screwfix connected it up and first test bingo, not a single drip.
