Hi guys,

I need help with this Parking Charge. I was trying to figure out if it's POPLA-compliant or not.

I was thinking tof usingin appeal something like tthis
"This is an appeal by the registered keeper - No driver details will be given. Please do NOT try the usual trick of asking for driver details itoget around the fact ythat our NtK does not comply with PoFA. As there is no keeper liability, liability cannot flow from the driver to the keeper ,and so,is an automatic win at POPLA. Please cancel the notice or issue a POPLA code ,at which point you will auto withdraw."

Thanks for your help!

It should be compared with the examples in the thread by coupon mad, but looks compliant to me , in which case that appeal above is flawed

Personally, I believe that you should be trying plan A, not plan B

That PCN seems to be saying that your vehicle was parked in a Tesco car park for over thirteen hours.

    Is that what actually happened?

Yes, actually, it did. My car battery died, and I only replaced it in the morning.

It won't help you this time, but a couple of years ago something similar happened to me.
I did my shopping in Tesco and upon returning to my car it wouldn't start.
I knew it would be several hours before I could get help so sought guidance at the customer services desk.
The lady there typed my vehicle's registration number into the terminal on her desk and announced "You now have permission to park for twenty four hours. Please speak to me again if that's not long enough".

As @Gr1pr suggests, have you asked at the Customer Services desk if they can help?

Yeah, the new battery receipt won't help me in this situation. I haven't spoken yet with them, but I'm unsure if the battery story would help me.

I don't understand why you are not bothering to try that simple solution and dispose of the entire matter.
Just a few minutes out of your life... surely worth a try.

I agree with KeithP, get plan A done ASAP, more likely to succeed

The "28 days from the second working day" to transfer liability is still wrong in the top paragraph of "Important Information".

Would it be possible to challenge the ticket on these grounds?
