Door bells - Ring, Eufy or something else?

Any advice on which smart door bell to choose? Needs to be battery powered, ideally with no subscription requirements.
I know ring door bells are ubiquitous, but the ring sound does irritate me! Plus I understand the subscription is expensive and the need to buy a separate chime.

Ring subscriptions have been ramping up rapidly too. Rocket fuel prices must be going up

I've been looking at alternatives now the subscription has gone up, but the Ring just works consistently and reliably so I haven't decided whether to swap yet or not.0 -

Happy with the Eufy system using a home hub to store content and no subscriptions. you can buy a plug in chime but I use the hub speaker and also my Alexa pucks/devices via the Eufy skill.0

no issues so far
Let's say you're out and somebody rings your Blink doorbell, do you still get a notification and option of seeing a Live view without the subscription? Or can you only review the files later on your USB device?
