Hi I all i have just recieved a letter from dcb legal to state that they intend to proceed, attached with a copy of their questionnaire. Does mean that I will definitely need to attend court? Or is there still a possibility that they will drop the case?
Thanks0 -

I wonder if anyone in this thread could help me….I got a fine from Euro carparks for parking in the Scott Arms pub car park in Great Barr. The fine was issued on 7/7/23.I was actually in the pub and didn’t realise it was a pay carpark.I ignored all correspondence from Euro and then from DCBL, this usually works and they go away from previous experience.I received a letter today from HM Courts & Tribunals Service and DCBL are making a money claim against me.Just wondering where I go from here because I know I can’t ignore this but also don’t want pay £278.56 to those leeches over an 80p parking fee!Any advice would be greatly appreciated !0

Hi all, today i have received a letter from birmingham county court to say that the claim has been allocated to the small claims track. It goes on to say that
"upon consent from both parties, the dispute is listed for a paper determination hearing. The parties must not attend the hearing"
It also states that if the claimant does not pay the court fee by May 6th then the claim will be struck out.
I'm just not sure if I actually need to do anything at this point? I do have a copy of my bank statement which shows that I paid the parking fee, I would like to use this as evidence. According to the letter I need to submit this to the court and the claimant at least 14 days before the hearing. However I'm unsure of which email I need to send this to for the courts, if anyone can point me in the right direction?
Thank you all again0 -
Look up the website for those courts in Birmingham, you want the civil court email for witness statements etc
You email your WS + Exhibits bundle to Bm court plus the lawyers by that deadline you were given , 2 weeks prior to the hearing is the old standard, that evidence will accompany your WS2 -

Would this be the correct one?
