BA flight cancelled

Hi there, first post so please be gentle.
my outbound BA flight was cancelled in May due to forecasted low visibility (however the BA call centre operative let slip this may not have been the issue) & ever since I have been battling to get this refunded. I have an existing complaint case with BA & feel
as though they expect me to give up. I have received a partial refund which in now way equates to the sums paid. Speaking to BA is pointless as they continually state the team that deals with these are email only. Can anyone help me with a way that I can break this endless cycle

If the airline cancelled the flight you should have received a full refund (assuming you booked direct and not via a third party who may deduct fees)
What reason have they given you to only making partial refund if the flight did not operate?
The reason for the cancellation would have no bearing on a refund being due, it would be relevant if compensation was being claimed.

Hi. Welcome to the forum. Could you give a little more info please? Who did you book it through, was another flight provided or offered, or did you book elsewhere subsequently, what were the details of the journey?
