Royal Mail Parcel Lost : refund in 5 days .. well done Royal Mail

A parcel never arrived, which I forgot all about, although I previously refunded the buyer.
On Monday this week I completed the online claim form and have today received a cheque, for the selling price and the postage paid, which I think is pretty good .. well done Royal Mail.
A few years ago I had to make another claim, but that time, for some reason I just got sent a few stamps .. well under the value of the item.
The item was posted to an eBay collection point, actually at a garage. Looking at reviews for this garage online, all (out of about 5) give it 1 star and mention the parcel service. So I assume they aren't too good with sending or receiving parcels.

That's great that you got your money back. I received a refund in stamps, which was worth more than the missing item and post. But I think I'd prefer a cheque.Mortgage: Was: £154,495 Oct 2039 Now: £84,398.84 May 2037Swagbucks ~ £90 (2024 ~ £395)Surveys ~ £97.41 (2024 ~ £280.14)Make £2025 in 2025 #5 ~ £409.16 ~ (2024 ~ £2,561.04)0
