Vanquis Savings Account

I recently opened a Vanquis Savings account as suggested by Martin Lewis.
To put money into the account you have to do a bank transfer from your own personal bank into the Vanquis savings account.
I sent £1,000 around 3 hours ago just to test it out, it has left my Nat west account but nothing has arrived into my Vanquis Savings account, does anyone have any idea why? Does it normally take a couple of days?

Not sure if it's the same as before but NatWest didn't used to process and transactions on the weekends so if that's the same you'll see things on Monday.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe and Old Style Money Saving boards. They still calculate interest on funds deposited into their savings accounts on weekends as having been received the next working day though.1 -

I've also recently opened a Vanquis Savings account and have been unable to make deposits despite multiple attempts and following the intructions to the letter. Never had a problem like this with any other of the multiple savings/ISA/current accounts I use. looks like I'll be taking my savings elsewhere.0

Paying in from TSB account - no error messages - payment goes - two/three days later it's back in TSB account. Nothing from Vanquis to say why it's been declines.0
