Aldi Kidbrooke - Plan A Success

I received a PCN from Parkingeye for parking in an Aldi/BM Stores car park.
They have recently changed the rules, adding ANPR and new signs which are not that obvious.
You now have to register your vehicle in the shop which you have not had to do previously.
I didn't register my car and received the invoice from PE.
I did have proof of purchases on the date and complained directly to Aldi using this link
It was cancelled the same day (I confirmed by checking the the PE website)
If you do not have proof of purchase and Aldi do not cancel there may be a case for poor signage.
Perhaps one of the regulars would check these pictures and comment.
This is my third win due to the excellent advice offered here, that's £270 in my bank and not theirs.
So well done to the Forum, Plan A is A for a reason.

Well done, those are typical tiny signs specifically designed to be difficult to see and with terms that are not easily read / in tiny font.
Quite clearly though it's a honeytrap from scammers, and I bet the entrance signs are typically non existent from Parking Eye also!

    Nicely done.

Thanks for posting and do chip in with advice here when you can. You know your stuff (at first PCN stage certainly!).

They can only really be read properly when turning in from one direction. There is a separate sign stating there are new rules that apply and to read the signs on site, so remember to bring your binoculars if you want to park there.
