My understanding is as part of the commitment you report jobs applied for, interviews ect.  I dont think there a mechanism for an employer to notify DWP.  I could be wrong though.

The jobcentre won't be notified.

Did you go to your account and complete a request to close your claim?

If so, they should action this soon.
