Reject it,  especially if you paid in full for the full period of time on site

Or ignore it,  especially if DCB Legal sent it
With regards to the hearing date, am i correct in requesting an alternative date as i am on holiday? I know i included dates i wasnt available when i was asked about mediation, but assuming these wouldnt get passed to the local court. If it does go to court i want to attend to defend my case, and not rely on just written evidence

I cannot answer your legal question

But is the court date an actual hearing,  not just papers only like the pilot schemes in Manchester and Cardiff etc  ?  Which court   ?

The chances are that dcb legal will discontinue near the hearing fee payment date, like hundreds of other cases on here,  which I assume is before the holiday   ?

Yes received from Wigan County Court and allocated to the small claims track.
DCB have until 6th August to pay the fee or file a completed application, or it will get struck out without further order

i'm thinking that its better to inform the court that i would like to reschedule now, or do you think its worth waiting to see if DCB do actually proceed? Taking on board your final comment, i'm hoping they go that route, and thus my question is irrelevant :)

    thanks for your responses :)

i've just received an offer of settlement £100

i trust i can just reject this and say i am happy to proceed to court?

i have a date in September but am requesting an adjournment as i am on holiday, so am filling in a N244 to request an alternative date
Stop: No you are not! That costs a fee. Instead, ask DCB Legal to agree for the date to be changed. That way, the request to amend the date is free and doesn't need an application.

Now read this message and please prepare to join us to do the Public Consultation once we've discussed it in August. It's vital the Government hears from Defendants threatened by court:

Please bookmark the main thread linked in that link. Come back in August to take part.

Just had my Notice of Discontinuance (N279) via email :):)

So looks like fighting against unfair / incorrect PCN is worth while, even if the whole process if flawed with 2 appeals rejected, and all the time and effort put into fighting it.

But at the end of the day i was happy to go to court, and without the support of this forum would have had a lot less idea about what to do at the various stages

thanks to all who have responded and guided over the last 8-9 months whilst i have been going through the process
    Congrats! You won!

No hearing date headache after all.

    ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST!

Please can you show the attached NoD with your data redacted? We'd love to count it and I'm sure you would want your success included in Umkomaas' thread?

See you again in August re the Consultation, if you want a say in the statutory regulation.

We'll go into more detail on the issues next week onwards.

Again, only @Coupon-mad's nudge worked. Anyway, we're here. Let's get this one over.

@Wigan_Pieman for the copy of your NoD. I can now get this counted in the DCBL Legal thread of shame. 👍
