Starling Easy Access 4% Pot

Sadly not. Have not seen that sort of functionality for many years now from any bank.

RBS used to do it but that was a very long time ago.

I checked on the Starling app last night and was able to open the 4% Easy Saver "space" and transfer money from my Starling current account into it.

Is there the option to pay bills from it?

No, you can only withdraw money to your Starling current account. You can't set up direct debits, standing orders etc.

The interest rate on current accounts is being removed "Starling Bank will remove the interest rate from its personal and joint current accounts on February 10, 2025. Existing customers will continue to earn interest on balances up to £5,000 until that date. "

Still no sign of it. The fixed saver space has also ended so all I can open is a normal space.

And to think when they introduced it they said 'every bank should be doing this'...

Maybe worth checking again in a bit as changes seem to be being rolled out to their customers over time.  I've been able to open an Easy Saver (you can only hold one) and the fixed saver product is still available to open as well.
