DCA Black Horse

We used the Martin Lewis template to do the DCA form for Blackhorse, they sent us a letter in July 2024 saying 'based on the information we have, we have found one or more of your agreements involved a DCA' 
We heard nothing after this, at the end of September we paid off our car finance then 2 weeks later we got a letter to say 'Based on the information we have, we've not found your agreement to involve a DCA' 
Now call me paranoid but that seems a bit suspicious that we did have it we pay off our finance and now we don't have it? Has this happened to anyone else at all? Any suggestions on what to do?

So, they have confirmed that DCA was available but not what type.

It may be neutral DCA.  i.e. dealer had it available to use but didn't do so.  i.e. the first response checked at dealer level.   The second response was at personal level.

Now call me paranoid but that seems a bit suspicious that we did have it we pay off our finance and now we don't have it? Has this happened to anyone else at all? Any suggestions on what to do?

You don't do anything.  You just wait until the issue is resolved.  Currently late 2025 but expected to be pushed back to 2026 or 2027.

I gave all the information needed and now I've received 2 letters dated 29/10/24 and 30/10/2024 asking, because they cant find a finance agreement, for the same information I already had supplied them earlier this year. 😱
