Hello - we've moved this over to 'Site feedback' as it's about MSE specifically

To reset your Forum password, you need to use this screen

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/entry/passwordrequest

If you are using any other screen, it's for another part of MSE, not the Forum.

If you are sure that you are using the Forum's password reset screen and you've checked any spam folders etc, please email us on forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com so we can investigate further.

  • I am having similar problems. I have not used the site for quite some time and just tried to login to my account on the main site, not the forums. I know for 100% certain I was using the correct email/password as I checked it with the stored passwords on my iPad. I clicked the send reset button using both my PC and iPad on at least four occasions but none was received. i checked all spam/junk folders to no avail. I then tried the forums but once again my login details where rejected. I again selected resend and this time I got an email with a reset page ( no code ). I am now able to access the forums but still cannot get onto my account on the main forums.
    Any help gratefully accepted.
  • Update to this problem. My main reason for trying to access the main site was to get some household energy price comparisons. I followed the links to the Energy Club, was asked to login and I was able to do so using the password that still being rejected by the main site????
Being able to login to the Energy Club means I was able to update my tariff details etc so all is good for now.
I would still like to access m my account on the main site at some point.
