500 for £39?   There was a link to Plusnet's 500MB deal @ £32.99.  I was looking at 145MB to 300MB and spotted that deal so
gave Plusnet a call (we were already with Plusnet on FTTC) expecting them to say new customers or new contracts or I needed to
follow the links but they said no problem we can match that.  My current mid term contract will just start afresh on the date.

Other than having to run cables further than I wanted it got installed quickly.

Are there are deals for lower speeds? Almost no one needs 900mb and unless you upgrade your router you won't be able to get that speed over WiFi all over the house.

Regardless of what you do, you are paying too much at the moment
    All the deals

Depending on your needs, you could get the "slowest" speed there and save money. Be aware that no matter how fast the speed to the house, you will still have much lower speeds at the extremes of the WiFi reach without researching mesh systems (for instance).
