Ebay items just not selling any more - not even getting views, what has changed?

But, given that eBay always sides with the buyer, surely your issues were resolved favourably?

So where do you go instead? I feel as though buyers must be looking elsewhere, but where have they (you) gone?

I'm not a business seller tho... just selling off stuff from various collections that's accumulated over the years.
Like you I'm not a business seller either, and not selling anything that could possibly be sourced from China instead. Things like vintage bits and pieces - underwear, children's books, household gadgets. Where else would I sell those?

I don't know what is stopping people even looking at my items for sale. On my profile it says I have been a member since 2005, I have 100% positive feedback, I don't sell the kind of things that can be bought for pennies from China, they are the kind of things that only a few people might possibly want but you might expect others would look at, even if only for a laugh or to say 'Oh yes I remember having one of those!'

As a test I bumped all my auctions up to 13.5% to replace the fees, and things have certainly kicked up. Though the kind of things that are selling may just be due to Christmas getting closer?
Thanks for the suggestion, I will try some promotion and see if that makes any difference.

If OP is still reading, worth using promoted listings standard, as the fees are now free paying 2.4% on around a third to a half of sales is well worth it IMHO.
Yes I'm still reading! I have now tried promoting the couple of things I have on there at the moment, will see if that makes a difference, thanks!

I’m not sure why but I’m now getting a lot of people watching my items . Are these the previous vinted buyers and sellers who’ve come over now there’s no fees? They just watch item for weeks even when I drop the price they don’t sell, I never had this problem before0

. I researched the items for sale, checked whether similar items were being sold for more/less and looked at the sellers reviews. I must have bought 100 items. I have not had a single problem apart from a lovely Dannimac in immaculate condition that was advertised as large and it turned out to be small. It cost so little I didn’t contact the seller and gave the jacket to my favourite charity. Let me know if you think I should have told the seller.
Ive not needed/wanted to return anything. In most cases the items were nicer than the photos. So, my experience has been positive. Have I just been very lucky? I bought quite a few items from one seller and she has found a few items for me that I struggled to find. Lots of lovely sellers. Having read all the MSE and other articles about eBay I have got the impression that most of the “crooks” were probably buyers not sellers.

. 1 hardly worn, 1 brand new. For some items I was the only bidder.

I have been amazed at some of the lovely clothes I’ve bought for little money. For some items I was the only bidder.
First, congratulations on your weight loss, that's amazing!Secondly, I have also bought things on Ebay and it seemed I was the only bidder. That made me wonder whether other people were having the same issue I was having - no-one seeing their items at all.I have relisted my items and this time chose the promotion option as suggested here, and it did seem to make a difference, I could see I got 8 to 10 views per item rather than none at all. Still didn't get a buyer though but I guess it's an improvement!
