Depends what you can get where you are.
Bash your details into a comparison site and see what comes back.

I'm in the position of needing a new broadband provider too. Been watching the comparison sites. Virgin, Vodafone, Three, OneStream seem to be launching better than normal deals over the last few days. Not sure when the deals will peak, I've not jumped on one yet. Don't like this new fashion of them locking you into a two year deal with multiple price rises. Hardly any 1 year deals around.

Just remember to consider both service and add on costs and not just the advertised price. Some of these bottom dwellers of ISP's sell on price but have awful service levels (look at the complaints per 100k user type metrics) or have additional charges such as paying extra for the router.

With BT, it's nonexistence. Just a few weeks ago their new customer offer for the Full Fibre 500 broadband was £34.99 a month. Their Black Friday for the same broadband is £39.99. If BT are pulling !!!!!! like, then I suspect they all are.

Agree with above. Last time out i stayed with BT as opposed to going with Vodafone even though i would have been slightly cheaper. 2 main reasons for doing so were the potential probs when changing (admittedly likely none) and possibly  having to chase Vodafone for cashback lined to their offer.

2 years on  i just can't see any reason to stay with BT anymore after 10 years. Paying BT £36.99 per month for Full Fibre 100 but now VM have laid cable around here. I think that's a game changer. Phoned BT yesterday and the 'best' they could do was to give current offer at £29.99 but they would throw in a free month. I can get far more speed now for quite a bit less with most of the big players that service my area.

Couple of newbie questions regarding Virgin Media if anyone can help?? First, can a new customer get a deal through a general VM partners link. Haven't used any form  of them since i had a sim only years ago for my daughter with Virgin Mobile. Also, should i go for one of their deals could i add an 02 sim at a later stage after the package has started to Volt it. Cheapest sim only i've seen at the moment is £8 pm and not sure i really want to pay that much just now tbh.
