O2 Classic PAYG

Yup, five months since I sent a text from my classic sim and now its saying no signal and then number can't be called, just says incorrect. Its gone. Sigh. Still got five years or so use as a spare phone using the original £10 topup with a £5 bonus. Not sure its worth fighting. Sigh. I think ID is probably the replacement. Seems to offer payg 321 rates and a £15 6gb for a year booster which might do me.1

Apart from @mnbvcxz checking with O2 customer services as suggested by @alanjones60, they should check that they can get a reliable signal from "Three" for the ID network, and of course the phone will need to be modern Wide spectrum 4G phone with VoLTE and ideally WiFi calling as well!
O2 are flogging a Nokia 105 4G for £19 BUT it's the 2023 model, doesn't appear to be dual SIM AND doesn't cover the "Three" 4G bands (as mentioned by a number of other sellers, nor WiFi calling). There's also a 2024 dual SIM model from other sellers which doesn't cover the "Three" bands or have WiFi calling either. Shame!1
