Has anyone ekse had difficulty opening this account and depositing.
I cant get beyond my building society's scam check as it asks how I received the account number and sort code. Trading 212 dont provide this and when using the 'chat' to try to communicate with them it suggests 'make payment' which isnt even an option. Going round in circles and frankly bit nervous about investing a large sum of money with someone I cant speak to

There quite a few T212 threads in the ISA sub forum.

You find your sort code and account number in the Settings for the ISA account

If it's the same as the INVEST option, you use a generic sort code and account number and MUST put in your account ID in the appropriate field in your bank's app/website.0

Been there done that....I managed to transfer in but could not access funds due to 2FA codes not arriving on browser, rubbish customer service by chat only, transferred out, closed account and lodged a compliant. Yes, you get very nervous when someone has a lot of your money that you can't access, it's quite unpleasant and scary.TiaMariaJan said:Going round in circles and frankly bit nervous about investing a large sum of money with someone I cant speak to

Ignore the scam checks - as long as you have put in the correct details you'll be fine.
Send £1.47 initially and see if that arrives, then you know you're good to go!0 -
My husband + I have opened a cash isa each .no problems as I did a transfer request from trading 212 to our previous isa provider. Once it's opened easy to put money in0
