Mediation in progress. They offered to reduce from £210 to £190. I said someone was driving my car. she is based in Scotland and now lives in Qatar. I was not even in the country at the time. I am abroad a lot and do not get to read all my letters. I will offer £10. And then if the other party wants to go to court and if found in their favour I will back charge actual driver with final amount.

I'm thinking I'll offer £15 next and then £20 as final offer or see them in court. Sound OK?

They said cannot accept £10 but offered £165. I said no. I told them I won't be paying a penny myself and if it goes to court and found in their favour I will back charge the driver. So I offered £10 to save them the hassle of going to court. I increased my offer to £15.

They said their lowest offer is £165 or else they will proceed to court. I told them they can proceed to court but my final offer is £20.

No, it is what it is,  worry ye not

They have to pay a court hearing fee if they want to go to court with it, plus both of you must submit witness statements plus Exhibits to each other and the court as well

Is there a way of finding out whether Parking Eye are proceeding to court, or are not? Do they have a maximum time to respond?

You will receive a letter from the court you specified with a hearing date and instructions for submitting a witness statement.

Might be next week, or might be next month.

Depends how busy or competent your local court happens to be.

I received a Notice of Transfer of Proceedings. The claim has been transferred to my local County Court.

Any advice on what happens next?
