Virgin Atlantic - Last Minute Deals

Hello,
I'm just wanting advice on booking a mid-December trip to New York with Virgin Atlantic, it would be a package deal with flights and hotel.
It's November at the time of posting so getting quite late on.
Would we expect the prices for our trip to start falling towards last-minute deal prices or would a New York trip generally just rise in price the closer we get?
Was expecting prices to fall just like normal package holidays but had conflicting advice.
Any help is appreciated.

December in New York pre Christmas can be a popular time of year to visit. IMO, book now at a price you are happy with.0

Long haul bookings don't usually fall in price. Same with long haul flights. ESPECIALLY around that time of year.
If a sale comes up then you could get a cheaper deal, but that is NOT guaranteed at all. Plus sale bookings are often for certain dates.
I would be booking now. It will most likely get more expensive, not cheaper.
Travelled to the US over 50 times personally, so checked a lot of prices over the years lol.
