If there anyway (apart from manually) to get an Excel formula in order of column?
Example: =sum( X2+C2+R2+L2) to =sum(C2+L2+R2+X2)
Example: =sum( X2+C2+R2+L2) to =sum(C2+L2+R2+X2)

I guess that would be to make it more readable. I don't know of any way, although I suppose you could use the + (which could also be a comma) as a delimiter and extract the text between them. However, probably easier to manually edit the first occurrence of the formula then copy it to everywhere else it is used.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the In My Home MoneySaving, Energy and Techie Stuff boards. Well, if you are working with formulae, the question you should answer is why. What are you trying to achieve?

Then that is good and there is , no doubt, lots more knowledge to be gained about the vast possibilities with Excel. How about researching Named Ranges. They make formula reading so much easier and help selecting the correct cells/ranges correctly less prone to errors.....and then pivot tables.....and more0
