Ok thank you lots of reading to do this weekend it’s very overwhelming isn’t it when not clued up and have buried heads a bit. Then wondering d we even stand a chance etc.

Don't overthink this. No one pays a penny to UKPC or DCB Legal if they're here receiving advice.

Just do the AoS (it really doesn't matter if you do this before the 5 days service but the pedants rule here) and submit a defence, any defence, it really doesn't matter. They will discontinue in due course and you will see your username in lights here:

But I already told you they'll discontinue the claim in 2025.  Nobody needs to worry "will I stand a chance".  There won't even be a hearing.

I assume the claim names her as the Defendant? Not you? And was she 18 on the date in question, or 17?
