    You are right to mention this. There’s usually a cooling down period though which gives those who ignore the request for maturity instructions a further fortnight or so to move their money, or have it moved by ISA transfer, elsewhere

    Hi there, at Skipton Building Society, if you choose to 'do nothing' when a fixed rate ISA matures, the account will reinvest in a 1 year fixed rate ISA by default, in line with the terms & conditions.
